I got a new chair

For the past few week's I've been using my wife's chair for my office. I am employed, she isn't. We agreed that I could use it until I got my own office chair. Her chair was one of the premium chairs, with a mesh bottom and backing and adjustable in almost every direction. I'll admit that I was so comfortable in that chair that the idea of getting my own got deprioritized.

Well, Officemax had a sale this week, and the same chair that I was using was 230$ off. I drove over during my lunch break today to pick up one of the two remaining units and stuffed the box in my car. It was so big that it wouldn't fit in my car's trunk - I had to drive up the steep hill with the trunk open and praying that the chair wouldn't fall out and flatten the fiat behind me.

Thankfully we all arrived to our destinations without incident, and two storeys of stairs later (I need to work out more) it was sitting in my office ready for assembly! Tragically I was almost out of time in my lunch break, so putting it all together would have to wait until work.

The wait was absolutely worth it. I now have my own chair, and my wife is happily back in her seat! Ivy is ecstatic too, because now she has company as she sits in my wife's office, looking at the birds swarming the feeder.

Truly a happy day for all!
